In the "tips" section of Team Dawg Sofy says:
"The "sheet in" maneuver in one single and aggressive move.
It's also done by the back hand ONLY. You suppose to push with the front one to keep the center of effort of the sail forward and not aligned with your body. This will make the sail loop for you. Stay locked in that position until the landing".
So I'm having in problem in that my front shoulder has been getting jerked really hard when I work on loops, so much so that after I do about 10, the pain is so bad I can't comfortably sail anymore. Is it true that you can perform this without the holding on tight with the front hand? Should I move my front hand further back on the boom as well to lessen this effect?
Any help would be great. I want very badly to get more consistent, but this problem is cutting my sessions way short.

This offseason we should all make a point to get really strong rotator cuffs... it seems like aside from lower leg injuries and occasional elbow stuff, the most important thing to take care of... and most of those nagging shoulder pains can be prevented through a little bit of proper training.

My recommendation:
Take the front arm off the boom right before your prepare for liftoff... wave to the camera... and do the one-handed hooked-in one...
