Am I a Crissy Regular now?

Posted on 2009.06.25 by Aaron Vieira.

It sure seems that way, and I'm not sure how happy I am about that. It's just so damn convenient for me, so if I want to reduce my commute time (thus maximizing my paja time), I go to Crissy.

It sucks a lot of the time, and it's cold. Yesterday was particularly nice. It was good enough that I rigged down from 5.3 because I knew I'd be having so much more fun on a 4.7. It was windy in the middle, so I didn't have to go far to have fun... The swell was decent and there were occasionally good ramps. I spent a while sailing with a lady who was wearing a batwoman hat.

I need to be working forwards with someone, but no one seems to be going for them there :(. Also, I hate to sail the outside...

So you sailed with Susan, AKA Catwoman? She's dedicated. I've seen her trying to learn heli-tacks off Anita Rock in light winds during a flood. Something I would not do.

I remember Matt once telling me that the first rule of the team was to show up! Consider this your first and only warning!!!! LOL

Yep - looks like you are. I don't know if I've sailed with you once. Maybe one of these days at Crissy - a spot I also complain about. Going for forwards is definitely less tempting when it's cold.

Sometimes it's important to preserve as much paja time as possible.

Time to make it to the East Bay Aaron. I have only sailed with you a few times this season.
